Já não temos o Superman

McG Quits Superman Project

By Adam Gonshor

It’s probably a bird or a plane overhead, because Superman won’t be flying over New York. A new Superman movie is in the works but the director, McG, has quit because he wanted to shoot the film in New York, not at the Fox Studios in Australia, where Warner Bros wanted to shoot the film.

By filming in Australia, Warner Bros could save millions of dollars, according to the Hollywood Reporter. McG said the only place that Superman should be filmed is in New York.

So far, no actor has signed on for the title role of the superhero, but rumoured actors include Jude Law, Brendan Fraser and Josh Hartnett. Michael Bay (Bad Boys) is expected to become the new director, according to an Australian paper.
